The staff at this restaurant were incredibly friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The bread and hummus alone made the visit worth it. It was a great, relaxing meal. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.
Great food, very friendly service, good value. Highly recommend if you like Middle Eastern food.
Tasty food with good variation of meat, but a lot of buts.. Dark restaurant Dead flowers on our table Candle not lit Small plates to eat in.
This food was not only halal, but extraordinary amazing. Sooooooo so good. recommend
This restaurant was a fantastic discovery. While staying in the West End, we weren't in the mood for another lengthy upscale dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the Middle Eastern cuisine here.
Nestled conveniently opposite the Edinburgh International Convention Centre, this restaurant offers a mixed bag of dining experiences. While some patrons rave about the generous portions and flavorful mezze dishes, others lament poor service and subpar main courses. Complaints about awkward seating arrangements and lapses in attentive service tend to overshadow the tasty offerings. Nonetheless, those savoring Kurdish dishes like Lamb Shish BBQ consistently praise the quality and authenticity of flavors. With a range of dishes from cold platters to grilled meats, the restaurant promises a delightful culinary adventure—if you can navigate the service quirks. Overall, a memorable yet inconsistent dining experience awaits.

Highly recommend getting the Rojava King Mixed Grill platter for 2 people. The sauces are delicious with a balance of a light spicy kick and a creamy, cooling sauce that works well with all the meats. Especially impressed by the crispy chicken wings, well seasoned lamb Schwarma and lamb kebabs. Great service but be patient as food is freshly prepared to order.
Great food and accommodated our late arrival. Appetizers and bread were perfect starters and mixed grill meats were perfectly cooked.
This place was an amazing find. We were staying in the West end and not feeling like a other upscale and long dining experience. We absolutely love middle eastern food and eat it reguarly. Rojava was better than many many many other restaurants we've been to. The hummus was tasty, naan was hot and yummy. The BBQ sampler: all meats were tender and tasty. My favorites were the lamb and then the kofta. And bulgar was surprisingly good. I say that because I've had not great experiences to the point that I usually just ask restaurants to give me rice only but decided to take a chance. Really tasty and fluffy and not at all Al dente which is what I've had in the past. Great value, excellent food.
We ordered a large meze sampling as a delivery to our rental apartment from this restaurant while visiting Edinburgh. The food was ok but a bit disappointing, compared to some tastier experiences e.g. in London. The lowest point was the olive meze, which was just plain green olives (without any seasoning, herbs or alike) tossed into a container, and that for £3. I probably would not use them again as there are other Lebanese/Middle Eastern restaurants in the city that also deliver.
