Reviews - Rojava
Reviews summary
Rojava presents a mixed but generally favorable impression: its plates often win praise for authentic Middle Eastern flavours, standout mixed-grill offerings, silky hummus, fresh naan and a memorable baklava. Several guests highlight tender kebabs, well-seasoned wings and balanced sauces that lift the BBQ and grill dishes. Service and consistency divide opinion — some diners enjoy prompt, knowledgeable staff while others report slow clearing of plates, occasional mistakes and variable delivery quality. The West End setting and social-media buzz draw visitors, and many reviewers see Rojava as a good-value, group-friendly spot worth trying.

Great food and accommodated our late arrival. Appetizers and bread were perfect starters and mixed grill meats were perfectly cooked.
This place was an amazing find. We were staying in the West end and not feeling like a other upscale and long dining experience. We absolutely love middle eastern food and eat it reguarly. Rojava was better than many many many other restaurants we've been to. The hummus was tasty, naan was hot and yummy. The BBQ sampler: all meats were tender and tasty. My favorites were the lamb and then the kofta. And bulgar was surprisingly good. I say that because I've had not great experiences to the point that I usually just ask restaurants to give me rice only but decided to take a chance. Really tasty and fluffy and not at all Al dente which is what I've had in the past. Great value, excellent food.
We ordered a large meze sampling as a delivery to our rental apartment from this restaurant while visiting Edinburgh. The food was ok but a bit disappointing, compared to some tastier experiences e.g. in London. The lowest point was the olive meze, which was just plain green olives (without any seasoning, herbs or alike) tossed into a container, and that for £3. I probably would not use them again as there are other Lebanese/Middle Eastern restaurants in the city that also deliver.
Highly recommend getting the Rojava King Mixed Grill platter for 2 people. The sauces are delicious with a balance of a light spicy kick and a creamy, cooling sauce that works well with all the meats. Especially impressed by the crispy chicken wings, well seasoned lamb Schwarma and lamb kebabs. Great service but be patient as food is freshly prepared to order.

Excellent Choice We ordered some Meze and main courses including Sea Bas. It was really so good as the are saying in social media. Coz I booked table after seen them in social media. Restaurant decor also fantastic and enough space to spend time. Definitely will go back again and recommend to all. Also they given us a Discount Gift Voucher. So nice
First visit As soon as you open the door you are hit with wonderful aromas drifting through from the kitchen , Great staff ! Waiter took the time to talk me through the menu and answer my questions... Opted for mixed hot platters ... Food was fresh and filled with flavour Well worth a visit ....
You should have something in your fridge at home, because the chances of you wanting to dine at this restaurant are as slim as receiving an invitation to a Christmas party at Buckingham Palace with the king. I ordered the kebab and it was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The lamb seemed boiled, the salad was pickled and soggy, and the bread was stale. When I tried to return the food, the server swore at me and used a language I didn't understand. This is not the kind of customer service that this restaurant should be known for. I definitely will not be returning and I recommend staying away.
Wonderful service and very tasty food. The top dish was the mixed grill, but the Koftas and Sea bass were pretty good too by all accounts. We shared 2 of the starters for 2 between 6. Go hungry as you won't eat it all if not.
