We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant in Edinburgh! The food was delicious, and we loved the atmosphere and service. The portions were generous, so make sure to come hungry! The non-alcoholic cocktails were amazing, especially the Earl Grey one. We highly recommend this place and they also offer gluten-free options. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
We have visited New Chapter around 4-5 times since they opened in 2015, and it continues to impress us every time. This was our first time trying the tasting menu, which we found to be a great deal. Our favorite dishes were the smoked trout and the North Sea Cod!
New Chapter is conveniently located just a quick walk from the heart of Edinburgh. The cuisine was delicious, with a great variety of wines to choose from. The staff were friendly and well-informed. The tasting menu was a great deal, with generous portion sizes. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be returning in the future.
From start to finish one of the very best meals I’ve ever had. Staff were great and I’m still trying to get over the food. Absolutely incredible. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Wow, go here if you can. Solo traveler from California. One of the best meals of my life. I got the pig cheeks as the main and the combination of flavors was to die for, with the endive and magical sauce. Who is this chef?. Side of greens also incredibly tasty. Cute and charming place and friendly service. Sleek, but casual and unpretentious at the same time. Would go back in a heartbeat. Also, I managed to get a reservation just a few hours before the time on a Friday night. And they didn’t seem particularly busy. Incomprehensible.
