What Roberto Marciano likes about MP's Bistro:
Very pleasant restaurant short walk from Princess St/ Waverley station area. We had the pre-theatre deal which had a decent choice, well cooked and a large glass of wine to top it off. We had mussels and clams to start and then one of us had the cod the other the risotto. All done well and tasty . Service was delightful and ambiance nice. No hesitation in recommending. I was here for a Vortheater. The place was empty, but it is somehow hidden, so was not overly worried. When we looked at the menu, it looked great so we have a main and dessert, but we ordered the chicken burgers and chips we love, but I ordered the pea risotto and it was inedible. read moreA comprehensive review of the restaurant reveals a mix of experiences. While some diners were unimpressed with the quality of the food and service, others found the food to be delicious and the service excellent. The pre-theater menu was praised for being good value for money, with quick and helpful service for those in a rush. The ambiance was described as slightly lacking, but the overall experience was positive for most diners. However, there were some issues with reservations and the location of the restaurant's facilities. Despite these drawbacks, MP's Bistro at Parliament House Hotel seems to offer a mixed but generally satisfactory dining experience.
Myself and 3 friends took advantage of a 5pm deal here last night and had the restaurant to ourselves.
I attended a family meal here and had an excellent evening.
I ate here as some friends were staying at the Parliament House Hotel, of which this is the hotel's restaurant.
Excellent service and delicious food. We said we were in a hurry and they were really helpful to advise us that a few of the courses would take half an hour and...
