Very pleasant restaurant short walk from Princess St/ Waverley station area. We had the pre-theatre deal which had a decent choice, well cooked and a large glass of wine to top it off. We had mussels and clams to start and then one of us had the cod the other the risotto. All done well and tasty . Service was delightful and ambiance nice. No hesitation in recommending. What Jamie Jackson doesn't like about MP's Bistro:
I was here for a Vortheater. The place was empty, but it is somehow hidden, so was not overly worried. Nice little and hidden Restaurant. Without Opentable we wouldn't have found it. Not overbooked. Good mussels.
Quiet even during the height of the festival and tucked away although near to Princes Street. Surprised to find it was part of a hotel!
Good food, although menu didn 't seem as extensive as usual, so we all chose the burger. Beware having a starter as I had no room for pudding. The lads enjoyed the haggis bonbons. Service was good and friendly. Nice to see the restaurant was busy
Visited the restaurant for the start of the festival. The atmosphere was really nice, the staff were very attentive. Our food was fantastic, we all had starters, a main course and desert. Would highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant!!
We went here for a pre theatre dinner. It was our second visit. The food is excellent, the staff very friendly and the meal great value. Would highly recommend it!
