**Dining at First Coast: A Mixed Experience** First Coast offers a delightful culinary experience with its well-presented and delicious dishes, catering to a range of dietary preferences. Guests appreciate the reasonable prices and good portion sizes, contributing to a relaxed atmosphere. However, service inconsistencies have been reported, with some diners feeling neglected or unsupported, particularly in managing families and special requests. While the ambiance is generally pleasant, noise levels can make conversation difficult. Despite the occasional challenges, such as time constraints on table bookings and service lapses, many patrons leave with fond memories of the food, making First Coast a worthwhile destination.

A gem. Been to First Coast on a number of occasions, service, food, atmosphere where all excellent. They do a delicious steak, moist and tasty and fantastic puddings. Been with just my wife and with a table for ten, service still outstanding. Would recommend.

I originally visited First Coast to see a young man who was on a placement from the college where I used to work, shortly after it opened. The owners were very accommodating towards him, and I hope they're still running the place. The food was excellent back then, and it continues to be. Although I hadn't been there for a while, I found that the quality remains top-notch. I'm still thinking about the delicious lemon posset and raspberries!

We booked this restaurant for my Mum's 65th birthday as it is local to my Sister and I we had both been before but not for a while. The food was excellent, good portion sizes, a nice variety on the menu and really tasty. The only thing that let it down was the service we received. There was only one lady front of house and maybe she was having a bad day but I don't think my family and I have ever felt less welcomed into a restaurant. We had two babies with us and I had requested a high chair prior to our arrival however there wasn't one at the table when we arrived and we had to ask for one, which seemed like a bit of an inconvenience for her to organise. We both struggled in through the door with our buggies, whilst the waitress/ manager looked on (didn't offer to help). We weren't told about the specials, offered dessert or coffee and nothing was delivered with a smile. We did leave a tip but this was for the kitchen, I do hope they receive it. It was a real shame it turned out this way as the food was lovely but I doubt any of us will be back.

You have to check out First Coast in Edinburgh for an amazing local meal. The food is absolutely outstanding, with the chefs brilliantly showcasing fresh Scottish ingredients in every single dish – it's both sophisticated and incredibly delicious. What makes the place even better is the exceptional service the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The vibe is cozy and perfect for a great night out, though honestly, the music could be a bit more in sync with the relaxed atmosphere. But that’s a tiny detail in what is otherwise a top tier culinary experience that you won't want to miss. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
