What Rogertheroo likes about Pulcinella, Italiano:
We were staying at the hotel next door and noticed this restaurant as we were arriving so thought we would try it out! There was nobody else in there at all so were a little apprehensive at first, but what a lovely meal! Very impressed! As we were the only customers, the service was excellent! View all feedback. What Teresa2532015 doesn't like about Pulcinella, Italiano:
The restaurant had a very small wine list, which was disappointing as Italian Restaurants typically offer a wider variety of choices. Our dinner consisted of pizza, which unfortunately was not very tasty - it was bland and slightly burnt. However, the delicious olive oil they provided helped to improve the flavor. The service was average. View all feedback.

read moreNestled near the bustling Royal Mile, Pulcinella presents a dining experience that fluctuates between promising and disappointing. While the restaurant boasts an inviting decor and offers great value with a lunchtime special, many patrons have noted a lackluster menu and underwhelming dishes. From bland pizzas to tough steaks, inconsistency in food quality seems prevalent. Service, while often efficient, lacks the warmth one expects from an Italian establishment. Despite these drawbacks, guests have highlighted moments of culinary delight, particularly with fresh ingredients and well-prepared starters. Overall, Pulcinella may appeal to the adventurous diner seeking charm, but expecting culinary excellence could lead to disillusionment.
