Station India - Edinburgh, City of

We had 2 orders from the train station indien portobello. order online was a piece of cake that was personal was so friendly when we collected, and eat ready and piping hot when it was expected. we had dishes, of which we have never heard, among them pineapple and discktikka, sweet katmandu, panir lemon chili and immunity veg (mild to medium Indian crumbled and honey) they were all very tasty perfectly cooked and not oily. the carnivore with us last night thought that lamb was also fantastic and we even found free popadomen with the orders! very appreciated! Unfortunately we are only temporary in edinburgh, from the ende november, but we hope that the next day we will have a final order from the station indien and now ask everyone to read this to do themselves and to treat ourselves to a meal from this wonderful take!

Chicken chasni was on the square. beautiful curry and naan. good size shares and friendly rides.

We have ordered from Station India Portobello twice now. Ordering online was simple, the staff were very friendly when we picked up our food, and it was ready and hot right on time. We tried dishes we had never heard of before, like Pineapple and Paneer Tikka, Vegetable Katmandu, Paneer Lemon Chilli, and Immunity Veg (made with Indian herbal ingredients and honey, mild to medium spice). Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked, and not greasy. Our meat-eating friend loved the Lamb Ginger as well. We even received complimentary poppadoms with our orders, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, we are only in Edinburgh temporarily and will be leaving at the end of November. However, we plan to place one final order from Station India on our day off. In the meantime, we highly recommend treating yourself to a meal from this fantastic takeaway!

I was very disappointed after reading the reviews. The lamb aprons I ordered were tough and not worth the $7 price. I love lamb, but it was a letdown. My partner ordered the apple cake for dessert, but the dough was undercooked and tasted awful. Overall, I would rate our experience as more than 10. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This was the best Indian delivery we have ever had. We have tried many others in the past and the samosas have never been up to par, but these were absolutely fantastic! They were real samosas packed with flavor. While fish dishes typically disappoint, the prawn chashni and puri were out of this world, just superb. The entire meal was a complete success. Thank you.
