Feedback
Nestled in the heart of Edinburgh, this restaurant offers a tempting array of toasties that has garnered a mix of reactions from patrons. While some diners rave about the flavorful cheese-filled creations, others express disappointment in service and certain menu items, such as the breakfast burrito and much-maligned chili toastie. Despite the inconsistent experiences, the warm, gooey Mac and cheese melts and hearty Philly cheesesteaks impress many visitors. Although the ambiance is minimalistic and lacking in seating, the promise of comfort food at reasonable prices continues to draw customers back for a satisfying, casual lunch experience.
I stumbled a day over this place and decided to give it a try. it was fantastic for a lunchtime, okay there is not much sitting opportunity, it is minimalistic and there is no bathroom (you can take away if you want), but if you want to pamper in their cheese toasties living room, this is the cheese cheese cheese to go later, big selection of them to die!
This is an outstanding outta of this world toastia store. two tried to forget what you were, but the other was bark with paprika. They do toasties directly on the pan, both sides with butter, normally this large amount of melted cheese would be too heavy for me, but it was just f *cking delicious, conditions perfected, aromen from this world. also got a melonenseide that was not too sweet, but mad enough to be the perfect match for the toasties. I am glad that this load is in another country where I will live elsewhere I will be broken and have heart disease
I called to place an order and the woman who answered spoke as if she had to be elsewhere. She repeated my orders in breakneck speed. Nothing friendly, not even courteous. This is alarming as I didn't want my orders messed up. Thankfully it wasn't as I got there to collect but it was the same attitude I got. And there was just one other customer in there. It's a pity because the toasties are nice enough to warrant a other try. I'll just take my business to their Dundas Street location.
We had been wanting to visit this restaurant while in Edinburgh for a while, and we are thrilled that we finally made it. Look no further for the most delicious comfort food!
I made the mistake of ordering a breakfast burrito and a side dish, only to realize I couldn't finish it all! The burrito was so big that it could last you all day if you wanted. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was really tasty. This place is perfect for a casual lunch.
