I dislike restaurants where you feel rushed and finish your meal in just half an hour, but you won’t experience that here. The service may be a bit slow, but take your time and enjoy your meal. What Bob Kato dislikes about Bleu Voodoo Grill:
I had high hopes of making this my new go-to spot for Saturday nights, but it turned out to be a huge letdown. When we arrived, the place was only about half full, and the hostess station was completely unattended. After waiting around for 10 minutes, one of the waitresses simply gestured toward a table. Frustrated by the other diners staring at us, I decided to grab a menu and take a seat myself. View all feedback.

The atmosphere is great, and the owner, Dave, is a friendly guy. Give it a try; I don't believe you'll be disappointed.

What a transformation! If there's one silver lining to come from Covid, it's definitely this. Since reopening many months ago, their service and food have been outstanding, which is why I'm updating my review. The staff is attentive, friendly, and really makes you feel at home. The cooks are doing a fantastic job, and any minor issues are quickly addressed. Great job, Voodoo! The steak is amazing, the French Quarter fries are fantastic, and bartender Amber is truly exceptional!
This restaurant is amazing! As soon as you step inside, you feel transported from Easley. The interior is bright and vibrant, and surprisingly spacious. There’s a large back area and an upstairs that you wouldn't even suspect from viewing the exterior. The kitchen is located downstairs, and they use a quirky coffin dumbwaiter to send the food up—it's quite charming. During both of my visits, we hung out at the upstairs bar, and the place was buzzing with activity. They have a solid selection of beers, and I also enjoyed some of their signature cocktails. I highly recommend the Zombie burger, topped with sweet pepper jelly—it's fantastic! Pair it with sweet potato fries and their Cajun Ranch sauce—definitely a must-try!
Used to go here often when we lived in the Wren Area. Tonight was awful. Our bill was $94 for 4 people... appetizer 3 drinks , meals no problem right? Well one person ordered shrimp and grits .. was asked small or large. Small turned out to be a tiny cup with zero shrimp- just flavorless grits. That is all she received. Was asked about salad, she ordered house with golden Italian ... no salad came. (Turned out it didn't come with the grits . The server was brand new, very nice, learning. But my guest for dinner basically had nothing to eat. I ordered grilled oysters (after seeing the guys behind me- his looked great! $19.95 two of the 12 had NO oyster at all. 8 had small bits oyster, 2 were actually oysters. The oysters come with bread. The server who brought the food dropped mine, laughed, then never replaced it. We complained about the grits before the bill came. They charged us $3 for the uneaten cup... Paying more than $100 is nothing for 4 people to eat out. But when 2 leave after having basically no food, it's pretty bad. A manager should have checked on us given the situation. We don't make a fuss or send food back. We just won't return.
