What Ronald Fuckerson doesn't like about Turtle Lake Refuge:
I did volunteer work here as this is a non profit organization, and I would like you to consider how many reviews this place has considering how long it has been here and how mainstream it is. It should have more reviews. They have been flagging negative reviews and to be blunt there is a lot of drug culture affiliated in my experience with the place. This place is AMAZING! The food is a feast to the eyes and the palate, and the atmosphere was so relaxed it felt as if I had dropped by a friend's house for lunch in the garden. A true delight for those with a taste for gastronomic adventure.
Clean, nutritious food served by loving, skilled turtles Vegetarian options: Raw, vegan gourmet
Just passing through Durango and I stumbled upon Turtle Lake Refuge. Everything was so fresh and delicious!
The people are so loving! Their customer service is akin to going to a close friend's house for a meal. The food is fresh and tasty. This is a raw food restaurant but everything was paired perfectly with the right flavor profiles. I felt revitalized and my tastes buds were delighted by the blends of fresh herbs and nuts. The menu is different each time plus you get dessert and it's donation based so no one is turned away.
