Always a good show. The tradition is carried on with good food (especially the steaks), music, laughs, friends/family. There is a few shops to browse while waiting for the show to start including a shop with pretty good chocolates and fudge. There is even a mini train that runs around the property. It's great fun for the family. We go every time we're in Durango. View all feedback.

I have been to The Bar D several times. I went with family July 11, 2023 . I guess I left disappointed this time for the first time ever. The atmosphere was nice the food is always great. It seems like the show is getting shorter and shorter. There used to be way more songs and more comedy and last night we had neither. That’s the only thing that disappointed me. We had a great time. The show was fabulous and a great value the performers did a wonderful job. The food was plentiful and tasty.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. As a wheelchair user, I was worried about the accessibility of this place, but they were SO accommodating, and made sure my visit was enjoyable. When we got there, one of the employees directed us to a parking spot in the back that was much closer to our seating. When dinner came around, an employee took my ticket and brought back my meal for me so I wouldn’t have to navigate my wheelchair through the line. Great wheelchair parking, wheelchair seating, and a very kind staff. Definitely coming back again!
Great family entertainment and meal for a very affordable price. Plenty of activities for children at each age group. Quality goods, jewelry, art pieces for every budget. Entertainment was enjoyed by all ages. Food was tasty, seconds were offered. Seating was picnic tables, and comfortable. Was quite apparent why this enterprise had been in business for over 60 years!
Great entertainment for any age (my kids are 19 and 16 and enjoyed the heck out of this). Great entertainment, good food, lots to do, a variety of shops, OG playground (old metal merry go round), train ride, and mountain ambiance. Hard to say anything that has not been said so go experience if you are in town!
