We had a wonderful meal in primus. I had the bison filet with looked mushrooms and fuagra that was delicious. my wife had garnel and skallops. both dishes were perfectly prepared. we have paired our dishes with a well-made mai tai. the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. our waitress was very attentive and made sure everything was to our pleasure. dessert came in the form of a home made gluten-free chocolate torte and an avocado chocolate torte. both were delicious!
We have passed over this restaurant with luck while we have the shops of main st. I'm so glad we stopped! this was one of the best meals I had in a long time. the pigeon was amazing. lobster bisque was excellent. tortellini was cooked for perfection. Brussel shoots were good. the personal was friendly, attentive and accommodating. this is a must to stop when they are in the opposite. the delicious ice next door is also a beautiful bonus.
The Wagyu Tomahawk steak was definitly worth it. We had the frois gras and wild mushrooms with the steak. Great service with good cocktails. Worth the trip.

High end pricing but high end product. You'll be hard pressed to find a better meal in Durango. Everything we ordered was creative and exceeded expectations. Chef John escaped the Michelin grind of Denver to create this masterpiece in the mountains. We were so blown away by the food he came out to chat for a bit and go over some of what we just enjoyed. Great for the lastmeal of a trip if you are looking to hang an exclamation point on the end. I went with the Colorado Lamb Chops with Bison Demi,I still dream about them regularly.
