Bison was cooked great. Martini was good! Server was nice. Got weird vibes from the owner. Price and presentation didn’t match. I get what they’re trying to do, butit’s an almost for me. Lots of money spent underwhelming. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Bison Filet Mignon

Trevor was an excellent server. Really excellent. Food was okay. They nick you an additional 5% at the end of your meal. This is padding their basic cost of doing business. At these prices, having an additional 5% added on is ludicrous. Service: Dine in Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We had a wonderful meal at Primus. I had the Bison filet with sauted mushrooms and fuagra,, which was delicious. My wife had the shrimp and scallops. Both dishes were perfectly prepared. We paired our dishes with a well-made Mai Tai. The food wasdelicious and the atmosphere was great. Our waitstaff was very attentive and made sure everything was to our liking. Dessertcame in the form of a house made gluten free chocolate torte and an avocado chocolate torte. Both were delicious!

High end pricing but high end product. You'll be hard pressed to find a better meal in Durango. Everything we ordered was creative and exceeded expectations. Chef John escaped the Michelin grind of Denver to create this masterpiece in the mountains. We were so blown away by the food he came out to chat for a bit and go over some of what we just enjoyed. Great for the lastmeal of a trip if you are looking to hang an exclamation point on the end. I went with the Colorado Lamb Chops with Bison Demi,I still dream about them regularly.
