Switchback - Durango

Being from South Texas, it's a gamble going to a taco restaurant but we were pleasantly surprised about how delicious the food was. We had the beef asada plate, which is perfect for a couple of out of towners to split since it has a little bit of everything we were wanting to order anyways (elote and garlic fries). Everything on the plate was to order, including the extra crispy fries. The beef was tender and well seasoned. We also were curious about some of their meat varieties so we also ordered a trio of tacos: carnitas, chicken adobaba, and brisket. Carnitas were seasoned perfectly and, although the chicken was a little sweeter than I expected, it was still good. Nothing beats Texas brisket but it was still pretty tasty. Worth a visit if you're here from out of town!

Delicious food, great vegan options, some of the bet margs I've ever had, and the mushroom tacos are the best ever! Service is friendly and a great atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: Very good about food allergies!

The food was AMAZING!! We were very happy with what we we ordered. We got the 3 taco special and you can choose the meats you want they were SOOO YUMMY! Then we had the dip trio and that was beyond amazing! Had a paloma and that was great! Dessert we had Tres leches and churros and wow can't say enough good things about the food! The only thing was the server was just there to take your order wasn't very friendly.. but I will still come back next time in Durango!

Good food friendly staff. The indoor seating area can be a little loud if there are a number of people inside. Our table was also a little dirty sticky when we sat down.

We love this place and go there every time we're in the area. Delicious food. Lots of gluten free and dairy free options. Friendly service.
