Burger Theory - Durango

The staff is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is amazing.

Great atmosphere and the beer is ice cold. However, beyond that, there’s not much that would make me want to return. The bartender seemed distracted and asked every customer to repeat their orders, leading to slow service. My food order was incorrect, but I didn’t want to wait another half-hour to fix it, so I let it go. The food quality was similar to what you'd find at an airport—definitely not impressive. The spicy chicken wrap was lacking any spice and tasted more like BBQ. I recommend sticking to drinks here, just be ready for a wait.

I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, and it was enormous and incredibly delicious. I highly recommend it if you have a hearty appetite like mine and truly enjoy a fantastic burger.

40 minutes from ordering to delivery of food 3 tables of dining guests in entire restaurant plus 4 folks at the bar. We each ordered burgers the only thing they serve aside from some appetizers and a couple salads also onion rings. Wanted to try their bbq sauce on the side. Delivered our burgers and rings on a metal tray we had to ask for silverware and napkins. Server brought 4 paper napkins and one cloth napkin wrapped single serving of silverware. My hubby and shared the knife to cut our burgers. We asked medium well and received charred on the outside and cold pink on inside burgers. Onion rings had been finished for some time…. The bbq sauce was not served. Had to request refill on water. This placed shares space with Holiday Inn Suites. Holiday Inn should be embarrassed!

We had an awesome night at Burger Theory. The food was so good. Love the build your burger idea. The regular fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings were delicious. CJ was great to talk with and provided excellent service. He made a great brandi old fashion and we learned that we grew up close together in Wisconsin. Small world. Great way to end the day in Durango. Don't be fooled that this place is inside a Holiday Inn, go there and get some outstanding eats!!!Vegetarian options: Veggie burgersKid-friendliness: Kids were in the house...Parking: Lots of parking in the Holiday inn parking lot.
