The restaurant did not have my reservation. However, e Mountain Grouse Grill did have my reservation this evening and it was great!

Great new neighborhood . restaurant. Inventive infusion of Houston foody ideas! Excellent ingredients. Beautifully plated. Still new. Front of house jelling. Plan to return regularly
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent! The atmosphere, although much better than the previous sports bar it used to be, could still be cozier without as many TVs. The bar and tables near the bar were great, but the back table area and sitting lounge lacked character. Overall, it's a fantastic addition to our neighborhood and I will definitely be returning!
I have witnessed the evolution of this restaurant from Bent (a good burger joint) to Main Event (a decent sports bar with decent food) to Plate (the best of the three). The chef and owner have discovered a fantastic niche with their Southern and Southwestern fusion cuisine. I am absolutely enamored! The cocktails are incredible, the food is superb, and the service is top-notch. There is nothing in Durango that compares to Plate! I will definitely be returning.
