If you have ever wanted to have a Volcano of fish and chips? Well look no further your dreams have come true! There's a mountain of hot crispy fries and surrounded with delicious fish topped with a tower of onion rings! It's an impressive sight when it arrives to the table and if you are unaware how it will be presented (as we were before ordering the first time) you will be stunned when the 8th wonder of the world is placed before you! Just go try it, you will not be disappointed! I don't see an option to post a picture so I can't give you a preview. Have eaten here twice, once eat in once take away. Eat in food experience was far superior to take out. Eat in tried single piece haddock and chips, fish was very good nice crisp batter, chips although good needed to be way crisper, a little limp and soggy. Portion size was good for me filling. Personally not a fan of the tarter sauce but perhaps my British taste. Accompanied by a pint of draught Newcastle brown ale which was excellent, counter service order and pay up front food is delivered to the table $20 plus tip I think good value for money. Will return. The food wasn't good. The batter didn't taste good, so greasy. Fries tasted brunt, tasted like old oil. If you from East coast you will know what fish and chips should taste like. Won't be recommending this place if you from east coast. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
