What Carmen C doesn't like about House Of Goodys:
With all the Chinese restaurants in Devon, it's hard to choose just one. I haven't been here in years, and there's probably a reason for it... We used to come here years back with my grandmother for smorg every so often. They had these pepper shrimp that were to die for! Now, when we go, the bins are never full of food. You go up there, and get literal scraps, if anything at all. I understand that smorg can be quite... View all feedback.
This place is awesome Great food and you get loads of it even dinner for 2 last for next day or more. Highly recommend for taste quality and portions I've only ever done take out but when I order and pick up always friendly people

The food, when you order off the menu is actually not too bad.
Everything here is to die for. Best onion cakes, best ginger beef, best fried rice hands down in edmonton district. Best everything. I drive 45 mins to eat here. My friend introduced me to this place easily 10 years ago. He lives out of province and every time he 's here we go, and they remember him. Id say unless you enjoy more Canadian Chinese food thats the only way you wont enjoy eating here. Service is fast and friendly and food is always hot and fresh. I think my local restaurants are decent then i go here and i remember they are mediocre.
When we moved to an acreage we had no idea where we 'd go for Chinese food. We decided to try House of Goodys last year and it 's been our Go-To ever since! Not once have we been disappointed with the food OR service. And the quantity is awesome for the price you pay! I will add that my husband and I are not picky eaters; however, we do like GOOD food and that 's what we 've gotten every time we 've ordered from here!
We just had Goody's today, and I was impressed. We shared the hot sour soup, dry ribs, chicken fried rice, Kung pao chicken, and wontons. The food was good, and the service was great!!
