There's a mountain of hot crispy fries and surrounded with delicious fish topped with a tower of onion rings! It's an impressive sight when it arrives to the table and if you are unaware how it will be presented (as we were before ordering the first time) you will be stunned when the 8th wonder of the world is placed before you! Eat in tried single piece haddock and chips, fish was very good nice crisp batter, chips although good needed to be way crisper, a little limp and soggy. Portion size was good for me filling. Personally not a fan of the tarter sauce but perhaps my British taste. Accompanied by a pint of draught Newcastle brown ale which was excellent, counter service order and pay up front food is delivered to the table $20 plus tip I think good value for money. Will return. For me, Devon is actually closer than downtown Edmonton since I live in the southwest part of the city. They offer a fantastic selection of different fish, along with traditional British side dishes that are sure to please! It's a great spot for anyone who misses British and Scottish flavors. The sweet curry makes for a delightful dipping sauce with your chips, and the onion rings are superb as well! Plus, the charming wallpaper adds to the English atmosphere in this quaint little town of Devon.

It was perfectly crispy and tender, without being greasy at all. In my opinion, it was the ideal fish! My husband really enjoyed his basa fish as well. The tartar sauce was homemade too—so tasty!
