I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did, even thoug... read more The weather in Derry was terrible yesterday, but that didn't stop people from queuing up for Guapo. I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did, even though the food was actually for someone else (I'll definitely treat myself next week). The staff was incredibly helpful, from the cheerful female server who told me, "You can have whatever you want!" to the guy who prepared my food just the way I requested, with the sour cream on the side. The portions were generous, the ingredients fresh, and the prices great. Once inside the restaurant, the food was prepared quickly. This was the first time The Golden Girls (both in their 80s) had tried it, and my attempt at changing up their usual Friday takeaway was a success. They absolutely loved it and called me this morning to rave about it. The bag of tortilla chips and sour cream was the perfect finishing touch for them. Once I handed over the food, they dug in happily and didn't stop to chat - they were too busy enjoying their meal. We (or they) will definitely be back. Thank you so much!
