Substandard quality of ingredients. Samosa’s (probably from frozen) crust was not good and served with a sweet raita (big sign of a bad Indian restaurant), mixed with a store bought mint sauce. A nicely made coriander and Tamarind chutney is too much to expect, is it !

Seems their passion etc has gone. We have always got the takeaway deal on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but the prices have steadily increased and the portion size decreased. The containers are half the size now. Got it last night for the first time in months....jalfrezi, tikka masala, chips, rice and Peshawari nann The curries were fine...not amazing, rice was rice but the chips weren't great at all...seems like they've changed the actual chips and the bag that they serve them in. I asked for the extra crispy and while some were alot were almost soggy. Their chips used to be great but now appear to be using frozen. We would usually get a garlic naan which is fine again not amazing but decided to go for Peshawari this time....SO DISAPPOINTING.... I've had this before in other Indians and it's filled with coconut, sultanas and almonds and it's thick and sweet almost dessert like.... saffron's is literally normal nann with a bit of desicated coconut on the top. Won't be giving saffron another chance... everything was disappointing and has been for some time....Shame as we used to love both the restaurant and takeaway. Will be trying moksh in the city and going to Sherpa in buncrana from now on.

It bears no resemblance to authentic Indian cuisine. The poppadums were stale, and the dips that came with them lacked any creativity. The main dishes were even more disappointing. My husband and I could only laugh at how awful the food was. We've dined in numerous Indian restaurants around the globe, and this was by far the worst experience. I really can’t understand how anyone could enjoy this!
