Was annemJ3653VI at Browns a mag?
My husband and I booked the foodie offer which is 3 courses paired with wine. Excellent from start to finish and we felt very good value. Lovely surroundings and very attentive and helpful staff. What was lovely was that we never felt rushed and had time to enjoy the whole experience. We have been to Browns on the Hill on quite a few occasions in the past but this was our first since it had been reconfigured and deco... View all feedback.
What Sarah Frauchiger dislikes about Browns:
Mixed feelings about Browns. I enjoyed the breads selection, sauces and sides however the steak I ordered was supposed to be medium and instead was more rare and really fatty it was mostly inedible! I mentioned this to our waitress who didn’t even apologise and instead just said ‘I’ll let the chefs know’. The service was also very slow and we were not compensated for the steak which we could barely eat. This is not a... View all feedback.
The food was excellent and generous portions. The place is clean and comfortable. Thanks to everyone and looking forward to our next visit
Very good experience. Friendly efficient staff. Reasonably priced great tasting food. The back room lacks atmosphere if you are not in a big party.
Lovely food and lovely wine pairing. Staff all very friendly and nice. The Restauraunt was very noisy with “the lads” all in from the clay pigeon shooting. Even after they left I felt that the restauraunt didn’t feel as cosy as it used to -but food was excellent as always . I missed the wee touches in the ladies bathroom too- feels like it’s catering for a larger crowd which is fine but I loved the exclusivity it used to have.
Fantastic experience as always. We were so well looked after by Sophie and Ian who attended to our every need. We had a warm welcome and the service was second to none. The food was excellent from the canapes to the various courses from the early bird menu. We couldn't fault a thing. We love coming to Browns on Bonds Hill. Thanks to everyone and looking forward to our next visit
