My wife ordered the tandoori mixed grill starter, and there was a piece of lamb that was so overcooked and dried up that she couldn't even eat it with a fork. The shammie kebab looked like a burnt shriveled sausage. The naan bread was undercooked. I do not recommend eating at this place.

I placed an online order for £15 and was told it would be a 20-minute wait. After waiting for an hour and making two phone calls to follow up on my order, I was told it would be another 20 minutes. However, 40 minutes later, my food still had not arrived. When I called to cancel my order, I was instructed to request a PayPal refund on my own without any apology or explanation. This lack of customer service has resulted in me no longer being a patron of this restaurant.

We had it delivered even though the restaurant iswithin a short walking distance.The delivery was contactless, and almost exactly at the quoted time,with the food placed on the doorstep, the bell rung, and the deliverydriver then standing well beyond the two metre regulated distance.We have eaten at the Voujon several times before, and always enjoyed thefood, but this seemed, somehow, even better. We were well pleased withboth the immediate meal and the one on the following night.

Staff were very abrupt a... read more Tried Voujon for the first time tonight! We had read brilliant reviews and that they have awards so were expecting a lovely experience. Staff were very abrupt and not very welcoming. Didn’t see a single smile (no masks either! or hear a friendly voice from any staff member through the whole visit. No customer service whatsoever.Waiter would not let us order chicken cake starter, as in his words “it’s not nice”. Other starters were tasty however on the small side. Mains were ok, small portions. Took a long time to arrive. Chicken passandra had a strange taste, almost like chemicals. Chicken tikka masala was a different taste to any tikka masala I have ever tried before, odd and no spice whatsoever! No one checked if we were happy with the food and seemed to avoid eye contact! Don’t bother with nan bread, all as thin as the poppadoms and burnt to a crisp! Peshwari nan has no filling. Cheese and garlic nan had no taste or cheese, managed to get a replacement which was slightly better but not much, with the waiter saying “it’s because there’s a lot of nan bread in the oven”. Took ages to ask for the billNext time we will stick to our usual Asia in Daventry! Much better service and food!
