Absolutely fantastic quality and at 2015 prices. The fish is landed just across the road on the Coveney Pier. It couldn't possibly be fresher. Lovely staff, great food and Stonewell Cider at the best price I've seen anywhere. Also, live acoustic guitar downstairs. Great Irish produce in a lively, happy local bar. Everyone very welcoming of the stranger. Nice visit! Seriously good value

W... read more We had a wonderful experience yesterday when the Oar restaurant enabled us to host 32 guests for lunch to celebrate a big birthday. Everything was thought of. We had the menu in advance so that we could reorder. The staff were helpful and friendly. Everyone raved about their food. The vegetarians were happy! Thank you to all of the staff for making this a very happy and memorable family event. Oh, and the views are sublime, the best in Crosshaven.
