a rustic old pub, with rooms larger than a common pub, so feels very spacious. also sunny. when they are at the weekend there, after 4 o'clock they add lights and tables, and serve food they have to order at the stall, and sit everywhere, and go to collect it when the summer lights up. we had a little bit of chips. the soße was maybe a bit thicker. the whole place crowded, so hard to find a place we were a group of 7... 1st time in Cronins Bar at Crosshaven sea port town. Cronins is an old style Irish public house. Right close to shops and Bus stops back to Cork city good bus service from Cork city to Crosshaven! Old rustic bar great for celebrating with group or on your own! Friendly staff! only draw back was the Prices are gone too Expensive and empty bars with little atmosphere! But bars here dont open till after 4pm. Cronins was open after 2.30pm pity about the greed at the bars! Crosshaven worth a visit but if your thinking of going for a cold one bring plenty Money!.
Cronins were so accommodating and welcome to our group and Sinead made sure we were well looked after! The place had a one way system so you felt very safe and comfortable given the times. My friends and I shared a bottle of delicious white wine and I had the vegan option (one of two options on the menu) which was a lovely jerk roasted sweet potato dish. Great food, great atmosphere and excellent service!
Sinead and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming hosts as myself and a group of friends enjoyed Cronin's hospitality 2 nights in a row on a recent visit down to beautiful Crosshaven. The haddock was divine Many thanks!
Needs a bit of sprucing up but service and atmosphere was lovely real old traditional irish pub. The tourists will love it !
The best spot for a last pint before the ferry. Nice staff, and good food as well.
Cronin 's of Crosshaven is an institution! Wonderful location, great food drink but, most important, excellent staff that are attentive 'real '. I love the banter the attention to detail. Buala bas!
