Ewha Won - Closter
Ewha Won
Description
A long-standing Korean-Chinese spot in Closter (Bergen County) is beloved for jjajangmyun, jjamppong and other noodle specialties, offering comforting, authentic flavors in a cozy, casual setting. Dine-in is recommended—fresh noodles and often quick service shine—while takeout can lose texture. Reviews note uneven side-dish quality, occasional poor service, and inconsistent meat preparation. Expect mid-range prices and plentiful free parking; best suited to noodle enthusiasts who know what to order.

Let me just lay out my honest opinion. Today was my first visit to this restaurant, based on its reviews. It was medicore in terms of its food taste—too many onions and not much meat on my dish... It seems like its owner is trying to save . Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Kid-friendliness: No Wheelchair accessibility: No Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Seafood Noodle Soup Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot
Was compelled to post after seeing some scathing reviews from people whose expectations for this type of cuisine (and order choices) were off the mark. Jjampong, jjajjangmyeon, buchu japchae, mandu (dumplings) are entry level dishes into Korean-Chinese cuisine that don’t ever disappoint. This restaurant isn’t known for their fried ricethey’re known for noodles. Don’t apply the typical order at a fast-casual Chinese American spot here. Fyi the noodles should be eaten right away and won’t reheat well the way pasta does (Fresh noodles usually don’t).
I love the sweet and sour pork(TANG SU YUK) in this shop. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
