It was our first time here and we were welcomed by their friendly staff who attended to us upon arrival. We were seated outside with other patrons and enjoyed the following: The Zesty Pear Char Broiled Oysters Wood Fired Cauliflower BraisedBranzino Octopus La Plancha Chef's Tasting: Mango Cheesecake, Flourless Chocolate Cake, and Toffee Pudding Althoughportions are not very big, everything we had was delicious and tasty! We'll come back to try out their pizzas which we hear aregood, too.
Came here for a Saturday brunch. We were craving some surf and turf. Steak and salmon. Have heard about this place and drove past but never tried. Valet was nice. We didn’t have reservations but we’re seated right away. Service was good. Weordered steak and salmon. The food was good. The steak was offered with a side of mash and sauce there was more sauce thansteak. The salmon was fresh and there were no complaints. Food came out timely, and hot. No complaints. Has a mojito, thedrink was good but not great for a $16 dollar cocktail. This definitely would need some work. Also it would be good that aplace like this offer some type of breadsticks or some type of finger food, just seems weird that you sit there at an emptytable waiting for your appetizers to come without so much as a breadstick and oil. For a restaurant this side that should be ahospitality must. The bar looked great, will come back during the evening to see what types of drink they can serveup. Overall a good experience, good food, good service in a nice quiet location.
Our first visit since spring 2020 and we are so glad we came back. Everything we ate was terrific: calamari, charred oysters, lobster roll, crab cake, and ceviche (which had more of a “kick” than elsewhere). We ate outside on a pleasant evening. It’s a lot quieter which we appreciated.
Great spot in the middle of the burbs. The menu is diverse with New Orleans style items included. The oysters are some of the best anywhere around. The roast chicken was outstanding, juicy. It is a simple menu item that they have perfected. The friedchicken was really juicy and not too heavy. The sweet and spicy jalapeño dip was a great complement. The gumbo was reallygood. It definitely wasn't as good as something in New Orleans but there aren't too many places that have it so take it when youget it.
Just finished celebrating New Year. My husband had a dozen oysters and a dozen clams for an app and half a fried chicken with a dipping sauce, collards and a fried biscuit. I had fried calamari for am app and the BBQ shrimp. The Albarino went perfectwith the meal. Don't hesitate to get the bread pudding for desert. Most important the staff is excellent ????
