What Amy doesn't like about Aloha Eats:
Waited 30 minutes for a combo box (chicken katsu and beef) and the chicken katsu wasn’t even hot! What’s the point of the long wait if you premake the food? Also, the cashier was talking on the phone with a friend and not taking care of the customers. Someone came in and had to wait for her to finish texting. View all feedback. What Bossu likes about Aloha Eats:
The food was so good and well worth the wait. It is definitely made-to-order. I had the chicken katsu which was crunchy and flavorful. My sister got the mix plate and was as equally impressed (unfortunately I didn't get a picture of hers). The cashier was friendly and helpful. I will certainly be back the next time I'm in Chicago. My favorite spot. I would frequent here multiple times a month. The portions are generous so a normal meal can feed 2 or one very hungry person. Highly recommen...

read moreAloha Eats in Chicago offers consistent, well-prepared Hawaiian comfort BBQ food staples that remind diners of flavors from back home. The menu is extensive and interesting, avoiding Americanized stereotypes of Hawaiian cuisine. Dishes like chicken katsu, mix plates, spam musubi, and pork katsu curry are standouts. The Hurricane fries are a must-try, and their drinks are delicious without being overly sweet. Generous portions and friendly staff make dining here a delightful experience. Even though the wait can sometimes be long, it's well worth it for the exceptional food. With flexible ordering options and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Aloha Eats is a top choice for flavorful Hawaiian food in Chicago.
