Was Bossu at Aloha Eats a mag?
The food was so good and well worth the wait. It is definitely made-to-order. I had the chicken katsu which was crunchy and flavorful. My sister got the mix plate and was as equally impressed (unfortunately I didn't get a picture of hers). The cashier was friendly and helpful. I will certainly be back the next time I'm in Chicago. What Amy dislikes about Aloha Eats:
Waited 30 minutes for a combo box (chicken katsu and beef) and the chicken katsu wasn’t even hot! What’s the point of the long wait if you premake the food? Also, the cashier was talking on the phone with a friend and not taking care of the customers. Someone came in and had to wait for her to finish texting. View all feedback.
My favorite spot. I would frequent here multiple times a month. The portions are generous so a normal meal can feed 2 or one very hungry person. Highly recommend
The best Hawaiian food I’ve ever had. Crazy expensive tho, but worth it.
Katsu is really good, just that it is slightly thin from my liking
The portions are great and food quality is excellent. Unpretentious, wholesome food. The BBQ chicken plate with steamed veggies and rice is so good and healthy.
I absolutely loved this place!! i’ve never had hawaiian food and let me tell you this place set the standard! the loco moco was delicious and creamy, while the spam katsu musubi was the perfect balance of crunchy, salty, and savory. i’d recommend this to anyone! the service was also incredible and quick.
