Pe... read more Swung by Trisha’s while visiting Cape May. Just needed some appetizers to hold us over. The scallops and risotto was terrific. Perfect size for an appetizer! Perfectly cooked scallops. Terrifically made risotto. Good service, but a littleslow (perhaps understaffed. Odd they only sold wine by the bottle and not by the glass. Been here once before and we recall itbeing terrific food and well presented.

There are always several specials to accompany the menu selections that showcase seafood entrees you’d expect for this coastal town. Tonight we had the halibut andscallop specials which were fabulous. The pork and salmon entrees were also superb. We have never had a regretful meal atTisha’s and the outside dining option is perfect for a beautiful summer day.

The staff was beyond friendly and attentive and I loved the atmosphere. The food tasted good, but I feel it could have been better. For example, the chefsspecial was their garden burger but with fried chicken. When it came out … it was literally two chicken tenders on a bun. Andthe fries were just generic. I know that’s a broad statement but I feel like if you have a truffle fries appetizers, the frieswould be a little better quality.

Our server, Sandy, was very attentive. We shared the polenta sausage appy, delish. My hubs I ordered the Filet Poivre and it was cooked to perfection. When I told Sandy I didn’t want the mashed potatoes she loaded me up with extra greenbeans. Nice. Finished a great meal with Key Lime Pie. Highly recommend. Dine al fresco and people watch. FYI: This is a BYOB(which means you can bring a very good wine and save a small fortune)
