It had been a few years since we were in Zocalo, but it was as good as we remembered it to be. There were still some favorites on the menu, but also some new dishes, and they didn't disappoint. This is the only menu among many in Charlottesville that is really different and exciting. I had the duck breast cooked perfectly and accompanied by a great sauce, braised chard and an onion manchego bread pudding, and my wife loved her salmon. My starter, the tuna tartar, was too heavenly and had a healthy kick. Highly recommended!

Zocalo was recommended to us by a family member and we were not disappointed. The food and drinks were amazing. Everything was fresh and had a wide range of visual and palate attractions. Each of us chose a different entre and we tried each other out. The WOWs went on around the table, from yellow tomato / cucumber gazpacho, meatballs, steak, softshell crabs, scallops ... delicious, delicious, delicious! All dinners came with beautiful pages that were incredible. I will definitely come again.

Wow!! Absolutely amazing lunch! Lobster egg taco, French toast and lobster Benedict! Atmosphere is casual and cozy. Super friendly service.

Very suave cafè Photography from poet Bukowski anchors a whimsical 60’s mod mosh. Lobster everything seems appropriately decadent. Bring your mimosas and drink them pinkies out. The Lobster Bennie was excellent and the Lobegg Tacos were deliciosowith sriracha (on the side). Tater tots? Of course! And I ate them all.
