Toad n turtle - Calgary

We were just in Calgary and while there one day we went out for lunch with our daughter and son-in-law to your establishment. The food was very tasty, my daughter and I both had wings while the men had different things than us. (can't remember what they had) Have to say those are the tastiest wings I have tasted for some time and our daughter said the same with hers. We shared some of our wings with the boys and they totally agreed as well, They quite enjoyed their meals as well. And the service was quite good. We ate upstairs and our server was very good and when asked by my daughter if we could have special requests he went and asked the cook and they allowed it since they weren't as busy as usual. Also want to mention the daughter has long hair and as it was a bit breezy out , she was making the remark to us that she should have brought an elastic for her hair and the girl who works there was walking by and heard and handed our daughter a spare elastic. That was so great, she didn't have to worry about hair flying in her face and so she enjoyed the meal a lot more. So heres a big hats off to the " Toad on top" for making our meal such an enjoyable one!

My wife and I usually go for wings on their wing night (Wednesday) and they are always good. Good size, juicy and plump, my favorite is the parmesan, excellent flavor.Service is consistently good, attentive and friendly. Last time I was there I requested that the TV channel be changed, the server went over to channel and flipped to the game I wanted to watch. Wow, in most pubs the server has to go to bartender who then makes the change, that takes some time as he makes drinks and then gets around to the change. Ever been there? :)Anyway all good at this pub glad they are in my hood!

Great food and service at the Toad n Turtle. Three of us had lunch and there were no complaints. The food came out fast and hot while the drinks were good and cold. Love all their locations. Great place to hang out with fantastic people.

Caesars seem to be a hit and miss depending on the restaurant, however every time I have been to Toad n Turtle, their caesars have been amazing. The turkey club wrap is also extremely good, however the pizza was a miss.

Fish and chips. Chips were good. Service was good. Fish - had difficuly getting fork through through batter and two thin strips of fish were stuck hard to the batter. Appeared to be very overcooked and dry. And for $17. I'll go elsewhere.
