I had a very disappointing experience with the service at this restaurant. Although the food was quite good, the poor service overshadowed everything else. When I mentioned the issue with our drinks—which took 30 minutes to arrive because the server forgot to place the order—the manager seemed to suggest that it was our fault. Even after receiving our food, we had to get up and go to the bar ourselves to ask the bartender for our drinks. Throughout our meal, the staff never checked on us. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back to this restaurant.
I visited this restaurant for lunch and ordered the chicken Caesar salad. Unfortunately, it was surprisingly disappointing. The dressing was watery and lacked flavor, while the bacon bits were dry and unappetizing. The chicken seemed to have been cooked and kept in water for too long, as it was also watery and bland, with an unpleasant rubbery texture. On a positive note, the service and the patio table were decent.
The food was excellent. I enjoyed a steak sandwich along with a garden salad, both of which were delicious. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding. It was tasty, although the toffee sauce had a slightly gritty texture. Overall, I would definitely return.
I had a relaxing afternoon during my visit to the restaurant. The menu boasts a diverse array of options, ensuring that there's something for everyone to enjoy. I was a little let down by the limited choices in the British Pub section, apart from the fish and chips that I tried—they were decent, although I've had better at State Main. On the bright side, the gravy was quite tasty. The beer selection stood out as well, with a strong offering of local brews, which is always a great touch. I also appreciated the decor; the tables and chairs were comfortable, and there were TVs everywhere, making it a perfect place to catch a game. I definitely intend to come back and try another dish.

The service was decent but quite slow. It took a while for the server to attend to our table. They claimed that the portions were huge, but we found them to be just the right size, not particularly large. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasant. However, the seating was not very comfortable, especially for tall individuals, as their legs and feet dangled off the chairs.
We went to the restaurant on Wednesday night for their wing special and it was delicious. The service was excellent even though the place was packed. The only downside was that it was quite loud due to being a pub, making it hard to have a conversation. Despite the noise, we still plan on returning.
I usually prefer Earls, but my friend wanted to meet at this restaurant, so we went on a Sunday afternoon. There were hardly any other customers there, but the football game was on at the highest volume possible. It was extremely difficult to have a conversation as it was so loud. There was also a woman with a one-year-old who was being very loud, and another woman with a guy who was watching the game while she nursed her baby. It was quite unpleasant. I tried the poutine, which was delicious and something I'll never forget. On the positive side, the service was good.
The staff was quite good, but eating was not worth the price they charge. I had fish and chips and the fish was very fat and a very small piece. I doubt it was a filet; more likely processed. the pommes were also fat and limp. bier was good.
Service was OK. Prices were not unreasonable. The food was however not great. It wasn't bad, just not great. Appies were no better than lukewarm and the steak sandwich not particularly tasty. Not a bad place, but not one we'd be in a hurry to...return to.
