When... read more I had a very disappointing experience with the service at this restaurant. Although the food was quite good, the poor service overshadowed everything else. When I mentioned the issue with our drinks—which took 30 minutes to arrive because the server forgot to place the order—the manager seemed to suggest that it was our fault. Even after receiving our food, we had to get up and go to the bar ourselves to ask the bartender for our drinks. Throughout our meal, the staff never checked on us. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back to this restaurant.

I was a little let down by the limited choices in the British Pub section, apart from the fish and chips that I tried—they were decent, although I've had better at State Main. On the bright side, the gravy was quite tasty. The beer selection stood out as well, with a strong offering of local brews, which is always a great touch. I also appreciated the decor; the tables and chairs were comfortable, and there were TVs everywhere, making it a perfect place to catch a game. I definitely intend to come back and try another dish.

There were hardly any other customers there, but the football game was on at the highest volume possible. It was extremely difficult to have a conversation as it was so loud. There was also a woman with a one-year-old who was being very loud, and another woman with a guy who was watching the game while she nursed her baby. It was quite unpleasant. I tried the poutine, which was delicious and something I'll never forget. On the positive side, the service was good.
