Globe Fish in Calgary offers a mixed bag of experiences according to recent reviews. This used to be me and my family's go to sushi restaurant, but now we have had to sadly disbanded it. There are plenty of better options within Calgary.

Globefish provides excellent sushi done in many different ways. Their specials were excellent, new and exciting, particularly the recent ghostbuster rolls, which were made with black rice, something I've never seen before! We started off with a bento box and supplemented them with more rolls, each of which were attentively made and combined different flavours in an enjoyable way. They also get the simple things right, with good miso, good dumplings, and very good tempura. The service was also excellent, friendly and competent, especially for our gluten free (celiac) relatives.

The lunch time specials are not only economical, they are delicious! My wife usually has the Tempura and I go for the Teriyaki Beef Bento Box. The only problem is there are never any leftovers - we eat it all! The dinner menu never fails to delight and it has become our very favorite go-to place for sushi for lunch.
