Panda Express - Buckeye
Panda Express
Description
Panda Express offers a mixed bag of culinary experiences, showcasing both extraordinary and disappointing dishes. While some diners revel in the generous portions and flavorful combinations of Orange Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, and Fried Rice, others lament undercooked vegetables, dry rice, and bland entree options. Complaints about kitchen cleanliness and inconsistent quality plague some meals, leaving diners questioning their return. Despite the variance in experiences, the allure of affordable family deals continues to attract patrons, making Panda Express a hit-or-miss choice for those craving Chinese cuisine. Enjoying a meal here may ultimately depend on sheer luck.

This was by far the worse experience I?ve had getting Chinese food. I ordered a bowl with broccoli beef and it came with undercooked broccoli that was still really crunchy. There was about 4 small pieces of beef that had no flavor. The rice wassuper dry and bland. I definitely will never return to this location.
The noodles were all chopped up, and none of the dishes had the classic Panda Express flavor. I won't be returning.
I visited the restaurant on October 31st around 7:20 PM and went through the drive-thru. They informed me that they could only accept cash at the drive-thru, which didn't make much sense since customers inside could pay with cards. I decided to go inside, where I ordered a plate and a larger plate, and everything went smoothly. However, when I got home, I realized that the teriyaki chicken was missing from my order. I took a picture of the receipt and called the restaurant to let them know. They offered me the option to return in two days, but I didn't want to eat Panda Express on consecutive days, so I suggested coming back that same night. Because I would need to make a 10-15 minute drive to pick up the missing item, I asked if they could replace both of my plates to avoid having my food get cold, especially since my wife's meal was incomplete. The manager on duty refused to give me her name and then abruptly hung up on me. I had to call back more than ten times to finally get a name, which turned out to be Jennifer. She was quite rude and seemed inconsiderate of the inconvenience caused by the employees' mistake. A situation that could have been easily resolved was made much worse due to the poor customer service from the manager.
The broccoli and beef dish was mostly broccoli—90% to be exact—so there weren't enough vegetables in the chow mein. Additionally, the rice had some very hard bits that hurt my wife's teeth. I requested sweet and sour sauce but never got it. Also, isn’t it customary to receive fortune cookies with the family feast? I won’t be returning here; this experience was disappointing.
