The overall setting with the small rooms available, and the great food and service made for a really comfortable lunch. We must return for dinner.
It's an old house turned into café. Really cute décor, service was excellent. Price ranges were good, and the menu items were really fantastic (and delicious). Suitable for vegan/vegetarian. Good coffee
Had lunch here on 2 occasions, this month, with family. I am gluten intolerant and found a lot to choose from. The sausages are made on the premises, are original and delicious as is the hash. Vegetarian options are also available and the menu can be tweaked to suit. The first visit saw us waiting about 40 minutes for the meal to arrive, but was well worth it. The second visit was a lot speedier. Breakfast menu is available until 2.30pm. This is quite a popular little place with inside and outside dining, though outside can be a little noisy with passing traffic. Parking is on the street and nearby parking is readily found, despite all the yellow road lines. Well worth a visit.
We stopped in for a morning coffee before visiting a new park at UQ. The atmosphere was nice and friendly, and the staff were friendly as well. We ordered 4 coffees, and the wait wasn't too long. My wife and child #1 enjoyed their chais, and the latte was just right in terms of temperature. The coffee could have been a little stronger, so maybe an extra shot next time. We will have to come back to try their food.
Snag and Brown, as its name suggests, specializes in sausages and hash browns/potatoes - a winning combination for many. Despite living nearby, I had never visited this cafe until recently when Mr. and I were in the area running errands. We visited on a weekday when it was not too crowded and street parking was easy to find. The cafe offers outdoor seating at the back, but we opted to stay indoors because of the warm and sunny weather. The menu features a variety of options, with a focus on sausages (including a vegan option) and hash browns.
