Ours were white, no browning on them at a... read more Serving sizes are HUGE and prices well. What I got was called the “Teeny Weeny” scrambler ? Ask for crispy hashbrowns. Ours were white, no browning on them at all, on both plates. Only thing I can find to be sad about.

And it was a l... read more It was fish Friday I'm told and I had the catfish with fried okra and mashed potatoes and gravy. Hushpuppies and sweet tea. And it was delicious. And it was a lot for me to eat. So portion sizes was great. Ate and had some to bring home with me to snack on later . Friendly atmosphere. The employees were down to earth, not uppity or snotty. I have severe anxieties going out to eat can be alot and most of the time too much for me . But I was comfortable there and that is amazing for me. Thanks a bunch to everyone there.

Mel’s has excellent food,... read more Not sure what all these bad reviews are about. I’ve been here twice and my husband has been three times and we’ve never had an issue! Mel’s has excellent food, great customer service and we’ve never waited more than a couple minutes for our food. Yes, they are a bit pricey but so are a lot of places. It is definitely worth it and we will most certainly be back! Brought my grandparents here about a month and a half ago and my grandfather is old fashion and picky about where he eats and doesn’t like too many burger places anymore. However, he liked Mel’s so much he asked when we could come back (my grandparents live in Keller by the way and would be willing to make the drive back to Boyd just to eat here! That’s saying something! Keep up the awesome work you guys!
