10/10! I can sum up my experience at Gogo Gumbo using the words of rapper Pitbull: "I came, I saw, I conquered"—or should I say, "I saw, I conquered, I came!" After indulging in five desserts, two main courses, and an impressive amount of sweet tea, I truly feel grateful for this remarkable spot in Boyd. I’d definitely love to come back and kick my boots up here again!
The popcorn shrimp and coleslaw lacked flavor, and both the shrimp and hushpuppies were tough.
What a fantastic place! Who would have thought that the small town of Boyd would have such a vibrant restaurant? I ordered the redfish, shrimp, and rotting pasta, and it was delicious. One member of my group had the shrimp gumbo, which was just okay, and another had the shrimp boil, which was also average. I sampled everyone's dishes. Unfortunately, dessert was the biggest disappointment. The meringue with strawberries and ice cream was overwhelming—a massive, overly sweet, crunchy mess that I didn't care for at all. We even discussed how we regretted our dessert choice on the way home. But that's alright; we'll definitely come back soon. Just a tip: make sure to arrive early and come with a full party to get seated. Great job, Go Go Gumbo!

Had the Prime Rib tonight. Best way to describe it: Nothing could have been done to improve on this steak! Best I’ve had in years! You really need to give this place a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
