What Lana van der Velden dislikes about Zizzi - Bournemouth:
We got a small table and we were a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 5 years. When the food arrived, I mentioned, this is the size table that people from 4 normally receive. I was told that it depends on the amount of food that is ordered! We were still not moved to a larger table and fought to eat through the meal. Terrible! View all feedback.
Tiny portions, indifferent & infrequent service and meh food. More people eating here to be seen than to enjoy the food.
This is a central restaurant just up from the Square in Bournemouth and is bigger than it looks from the outside.
Never been disappointed by Zizzi's and Bournemouth was no exception Had a lovely meal at lunchtime, was a lovely day so managed to sit in there outside
I am not a very big fan of Italian food, however gave it a try, Chicken, Prawns were upto the mark to increase your appetite. I also ended up eating a Pasta. Lovely food lovely staff Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Came quite late one evening as we were in the area driving home, seated by I believe a manager, who later didn’t really pay us much attention as they were standing by the tills ‘cashing up’. After trying to flag down a couple of other servers we finally got our food, wife’s ragu pasta needed replacing as it wasn’t hot enough as it had sat on the side to be brought to the table for too long.. garlic bombe was delicious and hot, toward the end of us being there a waitress called Lauren ? I think that’s her name, she was blondeish and cleaning the cups/glasses behind the bar, she came over and really gave us her all. So it’s been a mixed visit really. Didn’t start too good but was saved a little by someone else. Would come back, probably not an hour before closing and I’d probably make sure we dress up rather than coming in our work clothes so we fit in a little more Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
