I visited for the first time with a friend during a Japanese-themed evening, and the food was delicious, though the atmosphere was a bit unusual. It would be beneficial if the online booking and email responses were quicker, as this could greatly enhance the experience. I’ve given it 4 stars mainly due to the sluggish service. Additionally, we found the £8 price for a mocktail to be on the expensive side, and a small pot of tea for £4.40 seemed steep too, although the menu looked appealing with some interesting options. There are a few parking spaces nearby, making it convenient to visit this restaurant!

The staff was incredibly courteous and did everything possible to ensure the evening ran smoothly. The drinks, food, and atmosphere made for a perfect night. Each team member contributed to the venue's success, and it was a big hit. I highly recommend Tonic Social for events or even just for a nice evening out!

Tonic social covers the social disintegration well and it is not overcrowded at all, which is why we have gone in. it's just table service what's in order, but... read more Tonic social covers the social disintegration well and it is not overcrowded at all, which is why we have gone in. it's just table service what's in order, but it would be practical if the staff were a bit more attentive to the customers. it took some time to order our drinks, not because the staff was excessively busy, but more that they spoke to each other at the bar. our waitress was apologetic when she realized. it would also be practical to have a complete barlist regarding gun, whisky, rum and tonics. because customers are not allowed to pay, it cannot be expected that the waiting personnel know each label and any kind that is on stock.
