This is one of the best party spots in Bournemouth, featuring several dance floors. The security staff are fantastic and handle their responsibilities professionally. The location is excellent, the cocktails are superb, and the music is just right, creating a vibrant atmosphere with great people. What Anonym dislikes about So:
I went to Bar So after I saw an advertising about pizzas. The bartender treated us amazingly, we found out he was spanish which made everything easier for our trip. We ordered a pizza first time at the afternoon but the organisation was terrible and no one knew anything. I've been visiting this place for 10 years, as it’s one of my favorite venues for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. However, the ventilation in the cellar could still use some improvement.

I've visited this restaurant multiple times, and the bar is definitely my favorite cocktail spot in Bournemouth. I tried their dinner menu once, and it was quite average. The squid was decent, but the nori taco was disappointing, and both the chicken karaage and takoyaki balls were just okay. On the plus side, they frequently have 2-for-1 deals, which is a nice perk.

AVOID!! Visited Bournemouth with a friend, stayed at hotel nearby and decided to have a drink to this “bar” by the beach. Before I ordered a member of staff came to us and asked us to leave because my wonderful shorts didn't look fancy enough to impress the 10 customers they had. This place is so discriminatory and my advise to anyone who wants to visit the sunny Bournemouth is dont visit this place as they discriminate on clothing .. ironically they are by the beach where people would naturally wear light clothes during their holiday break. AVOID!

Me and my boyfriend went to this bar at 4pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon (6th August) 25 degrees heat, both wearing shorts,mine being short shorts, his being a £100 designer pair of shorts, plain, nothing wrong with them. I was allowed straight in, he was turned away, due to his dress code?! Absolutely ridiculous considering sat at the seating area at the front was other males wearing shorts. If your looking for somewhere to drink on a hot summer's day.......Don't drink here!!!!
