Simon's Fish Chips - Bournemouth
Simon's Fish Chips
Description
Despite a few negative reviews, this fish and chip shop seems to have a mixed reputation. Some customers have complained about undercooked fish, greasy batter, and cleanliness issues. On the other hand, many have praised the food quality, portion sizes, and friendly staff. With a varied menu including items like haddock, fish cakes, and battered sausages, this establishment appears to have potential. While some diners may have had unpleasant experiences, others have found it to be a delightful spot for a classic meal of fish and chips.

Had an breakfast baguette this morning, all cooked fresh and excellent value, highly recommended
We stopped on our way back from a lovely dog walk along the coast and had the best fish and chips ever! Lovely outside seating area too that dogs are welcome in too.
Didn’t want to post a bad online and went to them direct a couple of weeks ago with no response. I ordered fish and chips as I only live a couple of roads away as recently moved so was hoping to have you as my local chip shop. Unfortunately, the fish is SO overcooked and dry- I’ve never had fish from a chip shop like it. The batter actually scratched the roof of my mouth. The wait was quite long as there was only one person infront of me and there was clearly tension between the man and woman behind the till. I’m sorry but I won’t be returning or recommending.
