Everything comes together here seriously. founded on a reasonable collapsing out of upscale kitchen and casual atmosphere, the experience is arranged to have this perfect balance of affordableness and inventiveness. they beat the sweet spot. we're coming back!
Came here in a quiet, rainy night. our gps brought us to a hidden parking lot instead of the actual restaurant should have just seen the name, 4580 broadway, no way we missed it. had a few surprises and a farewell. Mustels 4: a beautiful descent from the usual heavier wein and tomato broths, which are aromatized with sausage; the broth was on the lighter and sweeter side, supplements the muscheln well. would like to see how the dish comes with grilled brot so that the sauce is not wasted! quinoa fritters 4: surprisingly good dish, very well seasoned and damp. If I were to be critical, I would say that the ball had a tendency to smash, and I would like to stay together, just a little better, maybe a little more like falafel. jumbo garnelen packed in prosciutto 4 : more like prosciutto top than wrapped. spices suggested some Cajun influx. the part of the quinoa at the garnels seemed a little off, but can't really complain to have more food, or? sweet risotto 5: well composed and executed, delicious. great roasted garlic taste. : this had all the components of a large plate, and the protein was well treated. However, the sauce seemed a bit a note, and seemed as if there was something missing. in addition, the heart of the dish was the short nativity quite under seasoned. one of the rare occasions I had to reach for the salt shaker on the table.
Great neighborhood place. Diverse menu with very attentive service. James, the owner, is always around to meet your every need. One of our favorites
Food always delicious and unusual. Service excellent
This north Boulder gem is an upscale, casual contemporary American restaurant. Very creative chef. Last night we tried the "Dinner for two" option, which includes a shared starter and dessert, two entrees and a bottle of wine. Everything on the menu is fair game, and all currently priced at Service was professional, friendly and attentive--thank you, Emily--and the jumbo seared Scallops was fantastic, and beautiful to see. Outdoor dining was peaceful and refreshing. James, the owner, stopped by making the whole experience that much more personal. Try the bacon-wrapped stuffed dates for a starter. It has been on the menu for years, and for good reason
