It's not the fanciest of places but again the food was very good and worked perfectly for a business get together without breaking the bank. Thank you!

The... read more I’ve been coming here for more than 20 years and have always loved it though I’ve noticed a bit of a downturn recently since new management has taken over. The food is still good but it seems to be veering away from more traditional sushi to a more “fusion” type menu, which is a bit frustrating since there are already numerous sushi restaurants in the area that do that. I was particularly upset that my favorite roll, the z-9 has been “improved” in a way that makes it pretty much exactly the same as the #9 roll at any other sushi restaurant. The service is still excellent but a little disappointed in the direction the food’s going considering many of the menu staples have been kept intact for as long as I’ve been coming here until this year.

Although we didn't have a reservation, we were lucky to find an available table. I ordered a variety of sushi, sashimi, and tempura items, and I also unintentionally ordered salmon eggs, something I had never dared to try before. To my surprise, everything was delicious! I can't help but love a restaurant that features a Tanuki statue. The tempura banana dessert was especially unique. It's amusing because I had originally intended to go to a different restaurant but accidentally searched for the wrong one on Google Maps. Ultimately, it turned out to be a happy accident! Cheers!
