Was Anonym at Rakkan Ramen a mag?
Rakkan in Boulder offers delicious ramen with a unique twist – their broth is made from plant-based ingredients rather than the usual pork or chicken bones. This provides a wider range of options, including vegan choices as well as traditional pork-based dishes. We tried a few items on the menu, enjoyed every bite, and can't wait to return for more fresh noodles on our next visit! View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Rakkan Ramen:
My photos may not do this restaurant justice. The ramen and sushi are both excellent. I just wish they provided soy sauce on the table instead of individual packets. View all feedback.

I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. I was shocked and disappointed by the level of service I received, right from the moment we entered the establishment. My party and I arrived just two minutes before the restaurant's official opening time, excited to try out the menu. However, instead of a warm welcome, we were met with a rude and offensive encounter with the waiter. As we stepped through the door, I overheard the waiter muttering a profanity under his breath. It was disheartening to be greeted with such an inappropriate response when we had done nothing but arrive a mere two minutes early. Regardless of the situation, there is absolutely no justification for a staff member using offensive language within earshot of customers. The waiter's unfriendly attitude persisted throughout the meal. He seemed disinterested in assisting us and barely offered any explanation about the menu items. It felt like he was doing us a favor by taking our orders. It's important to note that dining out is not just about the food; the overall experience plays a significant role, and the behavior of the staff can greatly influence that experience.I believe that the success of any restaurant hinges on the professionalism and courtesy of its staff. Unfortunately, in this case, the waiter's behavior overshadowed any positive aspects of the meal. It's disappointing to write a negative review, as I believe in giving businesses a fair chance, but the treatment we received was truly unacceptable.I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and considers reevaluating their staff training and customer service protocols. It's crucial for them to understand that customers are investing not just in the food, but in the entire dining experience. I sincerely hope that future patrons will not have to endure the same level of disrespect that my party and I encountered during our visit.

The menu is clearly half vegan options. I could eat a new thing here every day for quite a while. Including not ramen starters etc. Incredibly well labeled. Delicious broth, worth finishing after the noodles are long gone.

Great food, great atmo. The ONLY thing I could mention to improve the experience is having soy sauce at the tables, since they offer some amazing appetizers too.Don't sleep on the chili oil, it's bomb!!Noodles are great- will go again

We got take-out ramen here and were disappointed, especially given all the great reviews. We tried both the Garnet and the Garnet Vegan options, as well as the vegan dumplings. The ramen broth for both was bland and the add-on egg, for an extra $3,had a hard-boiled yolk and was not seasoned. The vegan dumplings were quite good, and the best part of the meal with a crunchyexterior and tasty filling, but the ramen was not worth the nearly $20 a bowl we paid. Will probably not return.

Great vegan options! Super lovely and quick service. Definitely a good place for a quick meal. I had the vegan garnet and it was some of the best ramen I?ve ever had. My partner had the spicy vegan option with extra nori and noodles. Free fresh garlicwas a nice touch too. Waiting staff were great, friendly and speedy. Restaurant is clean and tidy.
