We were given a recommendation to give this place a shot. A little surprised it is only open for dinner which meant we had to come back after 4 pm. So glad we did. It was delicious. I had the pappardelle and my partner had the trout. Absolutelydelicious. For dessert we enjoyed the gingerbread, at the waiters suggestion, and it was amazing.
A friend and I traveled to Escalante with the intention of dining at HBG and enjoying some adventures. We were not let down at all. In fact, we visited two nights in a row to sample everything on the menu. It was an excellent decision! Each dish we tried was delicious. We planned our trips perfectly, allowing us to enjoy stunning sunset drives back along the Hogback on Highway 12. The outdoor setting was idyllic, and the charming cats wandering around, looking for belly rubs, brightened my day. The exceptional service was the cherry on top!
Wow, this was honestly one of the best dining experiences we've ever had! The food and drinks were outstanding, and the stunning location with its breathtaking views made it even more special. The patio was beautifully crafted, adding to the charm. We also savored dessert and drinks while capturing some memorable photos. What more could you ask for to make an almost perfect evening in Boulder, UT?
Absolutely amazing! I just wish I had enough space to sample the dessert too. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Torrey, Boulder. The service was exceptionally friendly, and there was even a delightful farm cat roaming around. Our meal was both innovative and fresh, with each element perfectly balanced.
What a charming restaurant with outstanding food! The jenchiladas were absolutely delicious, combining a nice balance of spice and sweetness with pumpkin. The braised beef was cooked to perfection as well. The dark magic gingerbread mix drizzled with caramel sauce was incredible, and you can even purchase the mix to make at home! Nick was a wonderful person and offered exceptional, personalized service. I'll definitely be returning!
