So glad we d... read more We were given a recommendation to give this place a shot. A little surprised it is only open for dinner which meant we had to come back after 4 pm. So glad we did. It was delicious. I had the pappardelle and my partner had the trout. Absolutelydelicious. For dessert we enjoyed the gingerbread, at the waiters suggestion, and it was amazing.

In fact, we visited two nigh... read more A friend and I traveled to Escalante with the intention of dining at HBG and enjoying some adventures. We were not let down at all. In fact, we visited two nights in a row to sample everything on the menu. It was an excellent decision! Each dish we tried was delicious. We planned our trips perfectly, allowing us to enjoy stunning sunset drives back along the Hogback on Highway 12. The outdoor setting was idyllic, and the charming cats wandering around, looking for belly rubs, brightened my day. The exceptional service was the cherry on top!
