The bearnaise was okay, not by any means the best I 've ever had, it was a bit bland. I ordered my steak rare. When the steak came out it was far overcooked (well done). I asked the server for a new steak that was cooked to the proper temperature they obliged although they were clearly unhappy. When the second one came out it was still overcooked but less so (medium at best). I ate it anyway because at this point the rest of my dinner companions were at least halfway through their food. The only saving grace to this meal was that I ordered the pistachio cheesecake and it was delicious. Probably will not be eating here again. For a $70 to $80 steak it was marginally better than something that you would get at a Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse. My total bill was over $100 and I left thoroughly dissatisfied.

Since there is no way to respond to the owners response to my review I will do it here instead: I agree that nothing can get accomplished when someone is scream... read more Since there is no way to respond to the owners response to my review I will do it here instead: I agree that nothing can get accomplished when someone is screaming and admit that I was upset with Kaitlyn's cold dismissal of what was important to me .. I calmed right down though .. she, however, did not. You can see by her response that she did not think my request held very much merit, neglecting to acknowledge that I requested the extra sauce many times because it WAS a big deal to us .. the server even said he put it in when he actually did not. She acted very unprofessionally I know food service well) .. Very sadly, I will not be returning to The Boulder Cork :
