Was User at The Cottage a mag?
The biscuits and gravy were tasty, although the gravy was a bit greasy and had a lot of sausage in it, making for a very filling dish—I didn't eat anything the rest of the day! The eggs Benedict were excellent, but I found it odd that hash browns came with an extra charge while fries did not, especially since they are both potatoes! The Cottage Fry Up was loaded with meat and just as hearty. All the dishes that came... View all feedback.

What John P dislikes about The Cottage:
The food was definitely not worth the $15. There was very little gravy, and it was so salty that I couldn't even taste the sausage in the two biscuits. The service was good, as I requested extra gravy and they provided a small cup, but it was still too salty. The restaurant was quite empty at 10 AM, and the lack of acoustics along with the hardwood floors made for a less than enjoyable atmosphere. I would recommend g... View all feedback.

I went for brunch and spent between $20 and $30 per person. The food was decent, earning a score of 3 out of 5. The service was also average, also rated at 3 out of 5. However, the atmosphere of the place was quite enjoyable, scoring a solid 4 out of 5. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but there’s room for improvement in the food and service.

The shrimp and grits were so good. Vegan coffee cake, amazing. The cottage fry up was a bit plain. The maple sage sausage, tasty. Bacon a bit chewy but great flavor. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Shrimp and Grits

I’ve been wanting to try the Cottage for brunch for awhile. We went on Friday and they have cheaper drinks Mon Fri which was a bonus. The drinks were a fun way to start off the meal. The service was slow but the waitress was nice. The biscuits and gravywere really good but the gravy was a little on the greasy side and tons of sausage. It was very filling that’s for sure. Idon’t think I ate all day after that. The eggs Benedict was spot on but you had to pay extra for hash browns but it wasn’tan additional charge for fries. Not sure why it’s all a potato. Ha! The cottage fry up was full of meat and was anotherfilling meal. All the meals that came out looked delicious. It’s very cute and quaint inside and very inviting. They also haveoutside seating with heat lamps. Also they had this really good homemade hot sauce and if you call 72 hours in advance they willmake it fresh for you and I will be ordering it. The jam was good too!

A lovely local spot perfect for weekend brunch or an after-work dinner. The food is good, not incredible but one of the better options in Bothell if you plan to dine in somewhere. We often get the mocha and spiced cider in the mornings. I appreciatetheir wine and cocktail selection, too. It’s hard to judge when they’re too busy to take non-reservations, so I recommendalways reserving online in advance. Weekend brunch seems to have the most activity, so plan to reserve a day or two beforehand.Their kitchen can be slow sometimes, so expect a bit of a wait to get the food in peak times. But last time we had a long wait, the server brought us a complimentary scone/muffin to keep us sated for a while, which was a nice gesture — and a greatbusiness strategy to avoid hungry upset diners! The patio has heated tables, which is nice, but the tables themselves are oftenwobbly and offer little legroom. If you are noise sensitive like I am, eating inside the dining room space will likely be toomuch; the noise bounces like crazy (and a lot of the patrons are loud chatters! :
