Known as chef to the winemakers, Chef Russell Lowell is a hands on chef. Cutting all our proteins in house during the day and working the grill at night. He creates a menu that considers seasonality and wine pairings. We are a local favorite in the Bothell area. Located in a historic hay barn, we are the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or a date night away from the kids.

The reviews for the restaurant were mixed, with some customers expressing disappointment in the quality of the food and service. Complaints included lukewarm meals, poorly cooked steaks, slow service, and neglected tables. However, there were also positive reviews praising the enjoyable environment, delicious food, and exceptional service. Customers mentioned their satisfaction with the steaks, scallops, and seafood dishes. Overall, opinions varied but many appreciated the overall experience and recommended the restaurant for a nice meal out.

Food was very good, service was courteous and friendly. The appetizer came out fast as did drinks. Dinner took a very very long time. Waiter kept us updated but it was about an hour for a 5 top. Then we ordered a crisp and it came out without ice cream, they said they ran out and someone went to the store to get some. Would go there again, it had a nice atmosphere.

Though this restaurant claims to be a fine dining experience, their food is uninspired and service was subpar. The pricing was in line with fine dining, which is unwarranted for the previously stated reasons.

Went for our wedding anniversary. Food was decent but there was a very limited menu. I would’ve like several more options like a carbonara and different sides like a baked potato to go with the steak. They need more robust flavors. Service was fine. The restaurant had a romantic candlelit vibe that we appreciated. We were very disappointed that they don’t give you a complimentary dessert for a special occasion. All of the dessert menu items were way overpriced and I wanted a mud pie or chocolate cake. We left without getting any celebration which was a big letdown. I’ve never been to a restaurant that doesn’t give you a free dessert for your anniversary, they should absolutely change this. I would not come back for our next Anniversary. Disappointing experience for our big day, but I will still give some stars since not everyone is celebrating something.
