This is a great place for a weekend brunch. There might be a wait when you get there so be prepared, but it is well worth any wait you have. There are fresh baked goods available for purchase along with their regular menu. The service is great as well asthe food. No complaints about any visit I've had there!
The food was great and the one-woman hostess/server was terrific. I like that there are fewer tables now because the food gets there faster even if there's more of an initial wait. For us it was only about 20 minutes but we'd rather wait outside in thecar than sitting at the table. I hope they keep the seating as is!
On this chill fall morning I walked right past Jumbars while looking down at my phone looking for it. I?m glad I found it in the end. I had delicious locally roasted coffee and gluten-free corn muffin grilled in oodles of butter to start and ended upordering a vegetarian Chili omelette. Delicious, simple good food. My coffee kept getting refilled as I did my morning writing.Left satisfied and a little wired. Took their special Pumpkin muffins to go for my husband. Great service. It was quiet when Iarrived but it was packed with a line up of waiting guests when I finished up and left around 9:30am on a Friday morning.
We went there for breakfast. I had the baked oatmeal and a homemade English muffin and a homemade cranberry orange scone. Everything was awesome I wanted to try everything, definitely my new breakfast spot
Visited Bethlehem PA for the Christmas weekend. Started out at a different restaurant on Christmas Eve and my order was messed up. So I googled to find another place, found Jumbar and decided to try it with my doubting hubby. Food, service and atmosphere was amazing, food truly tasted like homemade food. We were served by Mary Kara who graciously shared the history of the restaurant. Recommend you try their scones, love love loved them, wished I bought more. Would surely visit if I come back again. A 10/10 experience
